Little Tiger Pumpkin Rice Ball
Little tiger shaped rice balls made by steaming sweet pumpkin over rice and molding the golden mixture into soft, sweet, kid-friendly bites.
Instructions
- 1

Use any variety of rice, and cook it according to the amount you plan to eat.
- 2

Gently rinse once, add water according to the normal amount for cooking rice, and select the simmer rice setting.
- 3

Select pumpkin varieties with yellow flesh, sweet taste, and smooth texture. The amount used can be more or less; if you want the rice balls to be more yellow, you can use more pumpkin.
- 4

Peel and remove the seeds, then slice thinly;
- 5

After the rice has turned into cooked rice, lay the pumpkin slices on top of the rice, then continue to simmer for another 10-15 minutes;
- 6

Scoop out two spoonfuls of white rice and set aside, then mix the rest evenly with the pumpkin puree; this is the golden yellow of tiger skin.
- 7

When cooking the rice, use sushi nori to cut out the tiger's eyes, nose, whiskers, and stripes. Replace the white pads on both sides of the nose with plain cheese slices, or you can also use white rice instead;
- 8

Take a lump of white rice and shape it into an oval to serve as the tiger's belly, then take a piece of pumpkin rice and place it on top, twisting it tightly with plastic wrap to form the tiger's body;
- 9

Find a beautiful and festive plate, place the tiger-shaped rice balls on the plate, then shape the tiger's head, ears, nose, and tail in sequence; making a few tigers in different poses makes them even cuter.
- 10

Finally, use seaweed and cheese slices to make the facial features and tiger stripes; the mouth can be decorated by dipping a chopstick in ketchup, or by coloring a grain of rice red with an edible color pen to give it a more three-dimensional effect.
