Lotus root, mung bean, and pork bone soup, awesome 🎉
A rustic two-hour pork bone soup with crunchy lotus root, mung beans for cooling balance, and optional carrot, yielding a hearty, nourishing broth prized for quelling internal heat.
Instructions
- 1

Prepare the ingredients. Actually, I don’t know why we need to add mung beans. In the past, at home, Dad said to buy two yuan worth of mung beans (for a soup serving five people). It’s probably to reduce internal heat.
- 2

Wash the lotus root clean. I prefer to eat carrots, so I added some, but you can choose to add it or not.
- 3

The ingredients are like this, then add water.

In two hours, the rich soup will be ready to taste.
