Lotus Seed and Lily Bulb Stewed Fish Maw Premiere
A luxurious double-boiled sweet soup of fish maw, lotus seeds and lily bulbs with sago, lightly sweetened with rock sugar and prized for its silky, collagen-rich texture.
Instructions
- 1

Soak the fish maw the night before, then clean it and cut it into strips; lotus seeds and lily bulbs should also be soaked in water for about half an hour.
- 2

Put the sago in boiling water to cook. When it is cooked, you can see that it is fully done, then rinse it clean with fresh water.
- 3

Put all the ingredients (except the sago) into a stew pot, add water to cover, and stew over high heat for about 40 minutes. Then add an appropriate amount of rock sugar and milk and stew for another 10 minutes. Finally, add the cooked sago, and it is done—a smooth and sweet dessert.
