Making Margarita Cookies at Home
Making Margarita Cookies at Home brings butter, powdered sugar and cooked egg yolk together and is baked until golden and crisp. Follow the steps for the best results.
Instructions
- 1

Mix the butter and powdered sugar evenly by pressing; you don't need to use a mixer. Over-mixing the butter can cause it to collapse after baking.
- 2

Press the egg yolk into a fine smooth paste, and mix it evenly with the well-pressed butter mixture.
- 3

After mixing evenly, sift the flour and corn starch, then press and mix them evenly in three separate times.
- 4

After forming the dough into a group, divide it into 5 pieces. Use edible coloring to make them red, pink, green, and egg yellow, and leave one portion in its original color without coloring, which comes out light yellow when baked.
- 5

For this color, first wrap it with plastic wrap to prevent the surface from drying, then divide it into small balls of 10 grams each and wrap them round.
- 6

Use the remaining colored dough to press out and decorate the shape.
- 7

Bake in three layers at 145 degrees for 15 minutes, then take out of the oven.
- 8

Melt the dark and white chocolate in advance, and after the cookies have cooled, complete the final decoration.
