Marinated roast meat
Thin pork belly slices are massaged with onion, scallion, garlic, and a savory marinade, then rested overnight in the refrigerator so the flavors soak deep before roasting.
Instructions
- 1

Prepare a piece of pork belly and rinse it clean with water.
- 2

Cut the meat into thin slices and put them in a clean glass bowl. I also kept the fatty parts because roasted meat tastes better with some fat. If it's all lean meat, it tends to turn out tough when roasted.
- 3

Cut the onion into small pieces, mince the scallion and garlic, and mix them with the seasonings into the meat.
- 4

Use your hands to mix the meat and seasonings evenly.
- 5

Cover it with plastic wrap, put it in the refrigerator to chill for 5-6 hours, then you can take it out, skewer it, and grill it.
