Mashed Potato Style Kimbap
Seaweed rice rolls filled with creamy cheese-flecked mashed potato and sausage instead of typical fillings, sliced into soft rounds for a mellow, kid-friendly twist on kimbap.
Instructions
- 1
Slice the potatoes and carrots and steam them until cooked.
- 2
While hot, add salt, pepper, and a slice of cheese, and mix well.
- 3
Choose AA export-grade nori.
- 4
Spread the rice evenly over the seaweed.
- 5
Add mashed potatoes.
- 6
Arrange the sausages (you can also add your favorite foods like meat floss or vegetables, but unfortunately I don't have any cucumbers 😁).
- 7
Roll it up.
- 8
Cut well.
- 9
Plating.
- 10
Let's start eating. Eggs can also be crushed and added to the mashed potatoes.
- 11
Right! There's still one more squeeze of mustard sauce needed in the small bowl.
- 12
Add a little soy sauce first and mix evenly before adding more soy sauce (this way, the sauce won't have large mustard lumps after mixing).
- 13
Let's start eating!
