Meatball Soup
A hearty meatball soup where ginger-laced pork balls, hand-squeezed and bound with starch, poach in simmering bone broth with soft Chinese yam chunks.
Instructions
- 1
Peel and clean the Chinese yam, and prepare lean meat along with a small piece of fat.
- 2
Cut the Chinese yam into pieces and soak in water, chop the pork into minced meat and mince it together with ginger.
- 3
Add some starch, oyster sauce, and a little pepper to the minced meat.
- 4
Put the Chinese yam into the pre-cooked bone broth and cook for about ten minutes. Then, use your hands to squeeze out meatballs of appropriate size and cook again for five minutes until done.
- 5
Alright, you can start eating now.
