Meigan Cai Pork Baked Bun
Crisp flatbreads stuffed with a savory filling of stir-fried dried mustard greens and minced pork; fragrant, juicy and deeply flavorful from oven baking.
Instructions
- 1

Add 5 grams of salt and yeast powder to the flour, then water. Knead into a dough and let it ferment for 40 minutes.
- 2

Soak the preserved mustard greens in advance, chop them finely, stir-fry them in a wok to remove the moisture, then add a little cooking oil and stir-fry evenly before setting them aside.
- 3

Chop the pork finely and add minced ginger and chopped green onions, then add dried preserved mustard greens. Season with salt, a little sugar, light soy sauce, and oyster sauce, and mix evenly to set aside.
- 4

Take the risen dough, knead it into a ball, and divide it into small balls. Roll them out as if making buns, then use a rolling pin to roll them thin.
- 5

Heat the electric griddle and pour in an appropriate amount of cooking oil. Fry in the pan until both sides are golden, then remove from the pan (baking in an oven makes it more fragrant and crispy).
