Microwave Steamed Egg Custard
A shortcut custard where whisked eggs with 1.5 times their volume of water cook perfectly in the microwave for ten minutes, emerging silky-smooth, then finished with oyster sauce and scallions.
Instructions
- 1

Crack 3 eggs into a bowl.
- 2

Mix evenly with a whisk.
- 3

Pour water into the bowl at a ratio of 1:1.5 with the beaten eggs, add 1/4 spoon of salt, and whisk evenly with a whisk (when lifting the whisk, there should be no egg white paste), and it's ready.
- 4

This is what it looks like after being put in the microwave for 10 minutes.
- 5

Afterwards, drizzle a few drops of oyster sauce (sorry, I unfortunately don't have sesame oil at home), then sprinkle with chopped green onions. It smells really good when eating it; if you don't believe me, you can give it a try.
