Mooncake
Mooncake made with egg tart crust, red bean paste and egg liquid, baked until golden and tender.
Instructions
- 1

Take the tart shells out of the freezer and directly tear off the bottom tray. Remember, you must tear it off as soon as you take it out; if it thaws, you won't be able to tear it.
- 2

Egg tart night is one egg yolk, plus 1g of honey and 3g of water, then stir evenly.
- 3

Roll the red bean paste into a ball. Mine is about 20g, I didn’t weigh it.
- 4

Put it into the egg tart shells. The egg tart shells are very easy to thaw, it takes less than 1 to 2 minutes. Then you can fill them.
- 5

Then wrap it up.
- 6

Wrap another egg tart crust like this. Each mooncake requires two egg tart crusts.
- 7

Wrap with two pieces of egg tart pastry, roll into a ball, and then stick some flour on it.
- 8

Mooncake molds purchased online.
- 9

Put it in like this, press it on the cutting board twice. That's all.
- 10

Look at the printed version.
- 11

Brush the printed mooncakes with egg wash.
- 12

Put it in the oven and bake at 180°C with both top and bottom heat for 20–25 minutes.
- 13
