Mugwort Qingtuan that can be both savory and sweet
Jade-green qingtuan with mugwort-flecked glutinous dough wrapped around either fragrant black sesame-peanut brown sugar filling or savory pork floss, balancing sweet and salty in one steamed bite.
Instructions
- 1
Blanch the fresh mugwort leaves, wash them clean, and then juice them for later use.
- 2
Stir-fry the peanuts until fragrant, then remove the skins and crush them for later use.
- 3
After toasting the black sesame, add an appropriate amount of brown sugar, put it into a blender to crush, and mix evenly with crushed peanuts for later use.
- 4
Glutinous rice flour is mixed with crushed mugwort and butter to make a dough.
- 5
Roll the dough into a thin sheet, add crushed sesame and peanuts, and seal it up.
- 6
There happens to be meat floss at home, so make a few savory meat floss fillings.
- 7
Line with oil paper, place in a steamer, and steam over high heat for about fifteen minutes.
- 8
Can be salty or sweet, very delicious.
- 9
After cooling, pack it and put it in the refrigerator for a while; the taste will be better.
