Northeastern Big Vegetable Bun First Release
A hearty Northeastern street snack: crisp lettuce cups cradle warm rice mixed with fried egg-and-soy sauce, fluffy mashed potato, and crunchy peanuts, meant to be rolled into a big, messy, satisfying bundle.
Instructions
- 1

Wash the lettuce thoroughly. There is a special kind of lettuce for rice wraps, which is relatively firm and can hold the rice ball. What I have is just ordinary lettuce.
- 2

Fry an egg with sauce.
- 3

Steam the rice until cooked, then take two spoonfuls.
- 4

Steam the potatoes until cooked, mash them, and turn them into mashed potatoes.
- 5

Fried peanuts.
- 6

Mix together.
- 7

Roll into a rice ball.
- 8

If you can't roll it, just eat it directly. It's so fragrant, you can make a whole pot.
