Nut bagel
Easy and satisfying, Nut bagel uses high-gluten flour, milk powder and cornstarch and is baked until golden and fragrant. Great for beginners and experienced home cooks alike.
Instructions
- 1
Add water to milk powder and corn starch, then heat over low heat until it becomes a paste.
- 2
Transfer to a container and refrigerate overnight.
- 3
Microwave the walnut kernels for 2 minutes and let them cool for later use.
- 4
Soak the raisins in water for five minutes. Remove and set aside.
- 5
Take the milk powder paste out of the refrigerator and mix it evenly with starch, eggs, and yeast.
- 6
Add corn oil and mix evenly to form a dough.
- 7
Knead the dough directly on the countertop.
- 8
I kneaded for about 30 minutes. I organized it and put it into a container to ferment.
- 9
Ferment until it doubles in size.
- 10
Take out.
- 11
Roll it directly into a flatbread.
- 12
Roll up.
- 13
Roll it again.
- 14
Roll into thin slices.
- 15
Spread the filling, leaving an edge to seal.
- 16
Roll up.
- 17
Press the seal tightly.
- 18
Cut from the middle.
- 19
Twist it like braiding a twisted dough. Let it sit and ferment.
- 20
After fermentation has doubled in size, sprinkle with dry flour. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Bake at 175°C for 30 minutes. (Cover with aluminum foil after 10 to 15 minutes of baking to avoid burning).
- 21
Start eating the bread!
