Nutritious Pork Rib Soup
A wholesome layered soup with blood-soaked pork ribs, sweet corn, carrot, and yam arranged in a claypot, slow-stewed until clear and naturally sweet.
Instructions
- 1

Clean the purchased ribs thoroughly and soak them for two hours to remove the blood (this way, the rib soup will be very fresh).
- 2
Prepare the ingredients.
- 3
Cut the fresh corn into sections and cut the carrot into large dice.
- 4

Peel the Chinese yam and slice it.
- 5

Arrange the refined slices at the bottom of the clay pot.
- 6

Spread fresh corn pieces.
- 7

Then spread the carrot pieces on top.
- 8

Add the scallion segments and ginger slices.
- 9

Cut the green part of the scallions into small pieces.
- 10

Pour boiling water into the clay pot and simmer for 40 minutes.
- 11

Cover with the lid, and after the clay pot comes to a boil, turn to low heat and continue simmering.
- 12

Add the yam slices when the time is up.
- 13

Add salt (adding it at this time can make the pork rib soup very delicious).
- 14
Sprinkle chopped green onions before turning off the heat.
