Oil-Free Crispy Potato Sticks
Crinkle-cut potato sticks tossed with a little oil and air-fried until crisp, then dusted with barbecue seasoning, chili powder, sesame and garlic for a lighter snack.
Instructions
- 1
First, deal with the potatoes. Wash and peel the potatoes, cut them into wolf tooth strips, soak in cold water, wash off the starch, then pat dry the surface with kitchen paper. Add a small amount of cooking oil and mix evenly.
- 2
Place the wolf tooth potato strips into the air fryer basket. For the Non-Boil-Required air fryer, set the temperature to 180 degrees and the time to 15 minutes.
- 3
Adjust the seasoning according to the roasting time. Put the mixed barbecue seasoning, chili powder, white sesame, and minced garlic into a bowl, pour in hot oil, and mix quickly to make the sauce (if there is no barbecue seasoning, cumin powder, cumin seeds, and salt can be used as substitutes). Wash and chop the green onions and cilantro, and cut the small red chili peppers into sections for later use.
- 4
Potato fries processed in the air fryer are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. They taste good even when dipped directly in ketchup. They are not deep-fried, making them feel safer to eat.
- 5
Pour the wolf-tooth potatoes into a bowl, add the sauce and all the ingredients, mix evenly by hand, and then transfer to a plate.
