Once you learn it, you no longer need to go outside to buy pickles.
A pantry-friendly cucumber pickle using everyday seasonings simmered into a balanced sweet-savory brine, making store-bought versions feel entirely unnecessary.
Instructions
- 1

Wash the cucumber, cut it quickly into long strips, place them in a bowl, add 1 tablespoon of edible salt, and mix evenly by hand to marinate for 20 minutes.
- 2

Pour 1 tablespoon of light soy sauce, 1/2 tablespoon of oyster sauce, 1/2 tablespoon of aged vinegar, and 2/3 tablespoon of sugar into the pot, and simmer over low heat until cooled.
- 3

Place the pickled cucumber strips into a pot, pour in an appropriate amount of cooled boiled water, rinse several times, then lift them out and put them into a container.
- 4

Peel 2 heads of garlic, wash and slice them, and put them into the bowl of pickled cucumbers.
- 5

Pour in the cooked broth and stir evenly with chopsticks.
- 6

The quick pickled cucumbers with sauce are ready, time to eat.
