Oreo milk cookies
A homemade recipe for Oreo milk cookies, combining butter, milk and powdered sugar; baked until golden and crisp. Easy to follow with simple step-by-step instructions.
Instructions
- 1
Soften the butter at room temperature until it can be easily pressed through with a finger, then add the powdered sugar and mix until smooth.
- 2
Add the milk and stir evenly; it's okay if the milk doesn't fully blend with the butter.
- 3
Sift in the cake flour, then add the crushed Oreo cookies.
- 4
First, use a spatula to mix evenly. The flour is quite dry; as long as it can form a dough, that's fine. Then press down, fold, and repeat this action until there is no dry flour.
- 5
Shape the dough into a long strip, either cylindrical or rectangular, depending on what shape of cookies you want to make. Place it in the refrigerator to freeze for an hour to set, then take it out and cut it into thin slices, about 0.5 centimeters thick.
- 6
Place the cut cookies on a baking tray, preheat the Gaobike T42 oven in advance, set to 170 degrees Celsius with both top and bottom heat, put in the middle layer, and bake for about 20 minutes.
- 7
When the surface of the cookies turns golden and emits a milky fragrance, it means they are baked. Take them out of the oven and place them on a cooling rack, and the texture will become very crispy.
- 8
Break it open and take a look, the middle of the cookie is also filled with crushed Oreo cookies, with a mix of milky fragrance and the savory taste of Oreo, it's really so delicious that you can't stop eating.
