Pea Shoot Tofu Soup First Release
A fresh, quick soup where pea shoots, thin tofu slices, and shredded carrot meet in a light broth scented with scallion and five-spice.
Instructions
- 1

Pick and wash the pea shoots clean, and the tofu is in small pieces like this. Rinse it with water when you get back.
- 2

Cut the tofu into thin slices, chop the pea shoots into sections, peel and wash the carrots and cut them into shreds.
- 3

Add an appropriate amount of oil to the wok, sauté the five-spice powder and chopped green onions until fragrant, then add the shredded carrots and stir-fry.
- 4

Add an appropriate amount of water and bring it to a boil over high heat.
- 5

After the water boils, add the tofu and continue to boil.
- 6

Cook until the tofu floats, then it is done.
- 7

Add the pea shoots, and when the pea shoots become tender, immediately turn off the heat, then season with salt and pepper.
- 8

Take it off the heat, and add a little sesame oil for extra flavor if you like.
