Pork floss

Pork floss

A homemade pork floss made by slow-cooking pork until tender, then shredding and stir-frying it into light, airy strands. Savory and finely textured, it pairs well with congee, rice, or plain steamed buns.

Instructions

Put the meat into cold water, add river ginger, salt, and seasoning, then cook in the pot.

Don't rush to cover it yet; scoop out the foam first.

After cooking, shred it into strips of meat. I spent an hour shredding 500g.

Add the seasonings, put it in the pan to stir-fry, and after stir-frying, put it in the meat grinder to mix into shredded meat.
