Pumpkin Corn Pork Rib Soup
A hearty slow-cooked pork rib soup sweetened by corn and chunky pumpkin, simmered with aromatics until the broth turns mellow and naturally sweet.
Instructions
- 1

Wash the ribs clean, put them into a pot of cold water to blanch, then remove and drain them.
- 2

Bay leaves, star anise, scallions, and ginger are placed into the electric clay pot.
- 3

Blanched spareribs are put into the electric clay pot.
- 4

Add an appropriate amount of water, cover with the lid, and turn on the electric cooker.
- 5

After minutes, add the corn to the pot and cook together.
- 6

Peel and remove the seeds of the pumpkin, wash it clean, and cut it into large diced pieces.
- 7

When the ribs are about 80-90% cooked, add the pumpkin to the electric clay pot.
- 8

When the ingredients are cooked, add salt and pepper, then turn off the power.
