Raisin bread
Easy and satisfying, Raisin bread uses high-gluten flour, egg and baking powder and is baked until golden and fragrant. Follow the steps for the best results.
Instructions
- 1

Break two eggs into the high-gluten flour.
- 2

Pour in the yeast and sugar.
- 3

Pour in the milk while stirring evenly.
- 4

Pour in the peanut oil again.
- 5

The dough is neither too soft nor too hard, and it doesn't need kneading by hand, just a slight adjustment is enough.
- 6

Cover with a lid, place in a warm spot to ferment until it doubles in size, then add the raisins.
- 7

Knead the raisins into the dough.
- 8

Pinch out dough pieces of uniform size by hand and shape them neatly. Line a baking tray with parchment paper and place the dough on it.
- 9

Place in the oven to proof again until it doubles in size.
- 10

Crack an egg into a bowl and stir it evenly with chopsticks.
- 11

Use a clean brush that has never been used before to evenly spread the egg mixture on the dough.
- 12

Put it in the oven and bake at 180 degrees with both top and bottom heat for 15 minutes.
- 13

Bread that is fermented and baked directly without using a dough mixer has a bright golden color and a soft, delicious taste.
