Red Bean Jade Rabbit Glutinous Rice Balls
Hand-shaped glutinous rice balls molded into adorable jade rabbits, served in a thick homemade red bean soup sweetened with rock sugar for a playful, chewy, and gently sweet dessert.
Instructions
- 1

Prepare the ingredients.
- 2

Rinse the red beans and pour them into a pot. Add three times the amount of water, bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to low heat and cook for 40 minutes. Then mash into red bean paste, add glutinous rice water and rock sugar, cook until thickened, and pour into a finished dish to set aside.
- 3

Mix glutinous rice flour with warm water and knead into a smooth dough.
- 4

Then roll out the little rabbit's head and two small oval ears, dip a little water on the top of the head, and attach the ears.
- 5

After the water boils, put the rice dumplings in.
- 6

Boil until they float, then rinse with cold water, and finally remove and drain the water.
- 7

Place it on the red bean paste, then use a chocolate pen to draw the rabbit's eyes and mouth.
