Rice Cooker Sausage Steamed Rice
One-pot rice cooker rice simmered with sausage, dried preserved mustard greens, potato and carrot, layering smoky, salty-sweet flavors into every grain as it steams.
Instructions
- 1

Soak the preserved mustard greens for more than 2 hours, wash several times to remove sand and salt, drain and squeeze dry, then chop; dice the carrots, potatoes, sausage, and rehydrated mushrooms; chop the green onions and garlic, set aside.
- 2

Rinse the rice clean, add the usual amount of water used for cooking rice, and set aside.
- 3

Heat oil in a wok, add ginger and garlic, and stir-fry until fragrant.
- 4

Add the sausage, stir-fry briefly, then add preserved mustard greens, carrots, potatoes, and shiitake mushrooms. Season with light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, oyster sauce, salt, and sugar, and stir-fry until the moisture is slightly reduced.
- 5

Pour the stir-fried ingredients into the rice cooker, spread them evenly, press the cook button, and after the cook button trips, let it steam for another 5 minutes.
- 6

Mix the cooked rice evenly, and it is ready to eat.
- 7

I fried two more eggs and paired them with some seasonal vegetables, making it more nutritious and delicious.
- 8

The rice grains are distinct, the color is appealing, not sticky or mushy, and the texture is excellent.
