Rice Krispies Treat
Puffed rice and nuts are folded into amber caramelized sugar syrup, then pressed into molds and sliced while warm, yielding a shatteringly crisp, sweet old-fashioned candy bar.
Instructions
- 1
Prepare the materials.
- 2
Pour the white sugar into the pot and heat over medium-low heat.
- 3
The sugar began to slowly melt.
- 4
The sugar is completely melted and turns caramel-colored.
- 5
Turn off the heat, add the puffed rice and nuts, and stir.
- 6
Let the popcorn be evenly coated with syrup.
- 7
Line the mold with a layer of silicone paper, pour in the mixed popcorn, and press and shape it with a spatula.
- 8
Turn it upside down on the cutting board and cut it into pieces while hot.
- 9
I still added a bit too little sugar, and it broke into many pieces when cutting, but I think it's already sweet enough and very tasty. Those who care about appearance should still add more sugar.
- 10
Sweet and crispy popcorn candy.
- 11
Let it cool and pack it up, eat it slowly.
