Rice Wine Glutinous Rice Balls

Rice Wine Glutinous Rice Balls

Classic winter comfort: slippery glutinous rice balls bathed in sweet fermented rice wine with warming ginger brown sugar, served hot with a mellow, lightly boozy sweetness.

Instructions

Bought some fermented rice on the way, the taste is very authentic. The canned ones in the supermarket taste really bad.

  2. 2

After cooking the glutinous rice balls, add ginger and brown sugar, and let them cool to room temperature for consumption. You can enjoy them at any temperature you like.

You can just mix the two together directly. The fermented rice can also be cooked, so that some of the alcohol content can evaporate and it is less likely to make you drunk.

Down the bowl, my alcohol is hitting me!
