Roasted crispy cucumber
Cucumber slices roast slowly with chopped chili, garlic, and sesame until their moisture bakes away, leaving chewy edges and concentrated sweetness in an unusual oven-made snack.
Instructions
- 1
Prepare the ingredients: cucumber, garlic, small chili peppers, sesame seeds, and chopped green onions.
- 2
Chop the chili peppers, green onions, and garlic, and plate them for later use.
- 3
Wash the cucumber and then slice it.
- 4
Place in the middle layer of the oven, 180 degrees, bake for 30 minutes.
- 5
Bake for 15 minutes, then flip the cucumber (this requires a bit of patience).
- 6
After a few minutes, the moisture on the surface of the cucumber has been roasted dry, but the inside still retains moisture. This texture is not so shriveled, then plate it and set aside for later use.
- 7
Prepare the sauce: In a bowl, put in small chili peppers, sesame seeds, minced garlic, and green onions, drizzle with hot oil, add light soy sauce, oyster sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, sugar, white pepper, and a little salt, then mix well.
- 8
Pour onto the prepared cucumber slices and mix evenly.
- 9
The super delicious crispy cucumbers are ready.
- 10
So delicious it feels like flying, super crispy.
