A slow-simmered sweet soup of white fungus, diced snow pear, red dates, and goji berries in rock sugar water, cooked two hours until the broth turns glossy and the pear melts.
Instructions
- 1

Prepare the ingredients needed for the Tremella and Snow Pear Soup: pear, tremella, red dates, goji berries, rock sugar, and purified water.
- 2

Soak the white fungus in warm water until it becomes soft, peel and core the pear and cut it into cubes, and wash the red dates and goji berries and set them aside.
- 3

Clean the clay pot, tear the soaked white fungus into small pieces, add the red dates, and then pour in 1500g of purified water.
- 4

Cover with the pot lid and bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to low heat and simmer for about 2 hours once the water boils.
- 5

Put the soft and glutinous white fungus into rock sugar, goji berries, and pear pieces, and simmer over low heat for about half an hour.
- 6

The soft and smooth rock sugar pear and white fungus soup is ready.
- 7

The nutrients of red dates and goji berries are fully infused into the white fungus soup, full of collagen complemented by the warming properties of red dates and goji berries. It can be consumed by pregnant women, the elderly, and children, and tastes even better when cooled.
