Rock Sugar White Fungus Hawthorn Soup First Release
A soothing sweet-tart soup of slow-simmered snow fungus and pitted hawthorn with rock sugar, thick and soft from the fungus's natural gelatin.
Instructions
- 1

Soak the white fungus in advance, remove the roots, and wash it repeatedly until clean.
- 2

After soaking the hawthorn with flour, rinse it repeatedly until clean, and remove the seeds for later use. The amount of hawthorn should be determined according to your preferred taste.
- 3

Add an appropriate amount of water to the clay pot, then add the white fungus and hawthorn. Bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer over low heat for about an hour.
- 4

Cook the white fungus until it becomes soft and glutinous.
- 5

Add an appropriate amount of rock sugar according to your preferred taste, continue to simmer over low heat until the rock sugar melts and the syrup becomes thick.
- 6

Take it out of the pot and put it into a cup; it can be enjoyed at any time.
