Roses that men will also like – Premium rose jam squares
Pork belly squares marinated overnight in rose fermented tofu sauce are arranged skin-down in a clay pot and slowly braised, perfuming the rich meat with floral sweetness.
Instructions
- 1
Cut the pork belly into small cubes, blanch it with cooking wine, then wash and drain.
- 2
Marinate the pork belly with diced pork, rose fermented bean curd sauce, rib sauce, Shaoxing wine, and salt overnight to absorb the flavors.
- 3
Take a clay pot and lay down chopped green onions and sliced ginger
- 4
Place the pork belly with the skin side down into the clay pot, then add the cleaned spices and rock sugar.
- 5
Pour in the remaining rose fermented bean curd sauce and rib sauce
- 6
Cover with the lid, bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer over low heat for 1 hour. Add salt for seasoning after 1 hour. If the color is not enough, use dark soy sauce or braising sauce to adjust the color.
- 7
Soak the stewed meat in the broth for 8-10 hours to let it fully absorb the flavors.
- 8
Remove the prepared braised meat from the original broth and drain.
- 9
Slice thinly. If it is not easy to shape, you can first refrigerate it, which makes it easier to cut. Then you can pour gravy over it and eat it, either cold or hot.

In order to take a photo, I staggered small teacups one by one and arranged them into the shape of a rose.
