Salted Cookies
Salted Cookies made with low-gluten flour, salted butter and emmental cheese shreds, baked until golden and crisp. Easy to follow with simple step-by-step instructions.
Instructions
- 1
Prepare salted butter and grated cheese for later use.
- 2
Prepare 380 grams of low-gluten flour.
- 3
Set aside the granulated sugar.
- 4
It is best if the salted butter is softened at room temperature to this consistency, so that it can be easily spread with a spatula.
- 5
Add fine sugar to the salted butter.
- 6
Mix the butter and sugar evenly.
- 7
Sift all the low-gluten flour into the butter bowl.
- 8
Gently cut and mix into a flaky texture with a spatula.
- 9
Add the crumbled cheese to the flour mixture.
- 10
Use water to knead the crumbled cheese and flour scraps into a dough.
- 11
Wrap the dough with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
- 12
Take out the dough after a few minutes.
- 13
Divide into 2 parts.
- 14
Roll it into a long strip on the paper.
- 15
Roll up the dough with paper, and use a ruler to help shape the dough into a long rectangular square.
- 16
After shaping the two portions of dough, place them in the refrigerator to chill for one hour.
- 17
Take out the dough that has been refrigerated.
- 18
Cut into slices about 1 centimeter thick.
- 19
Place it in the baking pan and put it into the preheated oven.
- 20
After baking for 11 minutes, take it out, change the orientation of the baking tray, and then put it back into the oven to continue baking.
- 21
Continue baking for 12 minutes, and the savory cookies filled with the aroma of cheese are ready.
