Salted Twisted Duck Eggs
Duck eggs take a dip in strong spirits before rolling in five-spice salt, then rest sealed in a bag. Curing in a cool spot yields marbled, salty yolks.
Instructions
- 1

First, wash the spun sugar eggs clean, then dry the surface moisture.
- 2

Put salt and five-spice powder into the bowl
- 3

Stir evenly
- 4

At the same time, pour the high-proof liquor into another bowl
- 5

Roll the cleaned and dried silk-wrapped eggs in baijiu briefly
- 6

Then roll it in the seasoned salt, allowing the surface of the egg to be evenly coated with a layer of the seasoning salt.
- 7

Put the eggs coated with seasoning salt into a resealable bag
- 8

Seal it tightly to prevent air from leaking, and marinate in a cool place for 1 month.

Marinated Silk-Wrapped Egg
- 10

Wash off the surface salt frost before eating, put in cold water, and cook for 5-7 minutes after the water boils.
- 11
A cooked silk-wrapped egg, when cut open, reveals the yolk in rings. It is not only rich in nutrients, but also indeed tastes better than ordinary duck eggs.
- 12

Cut another regular duck egg for comparison, and you'll immediately see the difference.
