Sam's beef roll, thin crispy pastry, extra-long cheese pull, tender and juicy beef, incredibly delicious!
Easy and satisfying, Sam's beef roll uses all-purpose flour, high-gluten flour and salt and is baked until light, fluffy and golden.
Instructions
- 1

First, we sieve 125 grams of all-purpose flour and 125 grams of bread flour and put them together.
- 2

Add 2 grams of salt, 2 grams of yeast, 15 grams of granulated sugar, 120 grams of water, and 20 grams of vegetable oil, and use chopsticks to mix into a flaky texture first.
- 3

Then knead it into a ball by hand, cover with a lid, and let it rest for 10 minutes.
- 4

Take out the relaxed dough and knead it for about 5 minutes until it becomes relatively smooth. Cover the dough with a lid and let it continue to relax for 30 minutes.
- 5

It is best to thaw 300 grams of fatty beef in advance, then add 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce, 1 tablespoon of light soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of cooking wine, 2 tablespoons of black pepper sauce, half a teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of sugar, and 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil, and mix well.
- 6

One onion, first cut into shreds and set aside. Take some of the shredded onion and add it to the beef, mix well, and marinate for 20 minutes to absorb the flavor.
- 7

Heat the pan, add a little oil, then put in the remaining onions and fry until fragrant.
- 8

Add the marinated beef, stir-fry until the beef changes color, then remove and let cool for later use.
- 9

Divide the well-rested dough evenly into 3 parts, shape them into rounds, then cover with plastic wrap and let them rest for 10 minutes.
- 10

Take a piece of dough and roll it into a rectangular sheet, remember to roll it thinner.
- 11

Place a layer of mozzarella cheese at the closing part, then a layer of cooked fatty beef, and then another layer of mozzarella cheese. (Note: If you like it thicker, you can add another layer of beef and cheese.)
- 12

Lift the dough from left to right and wrap it around the filling.
- 13

Slowly roll it up, and when you reach the filling, tighten it with your hands to seal the edge.
- 14

Remember to pinch the edges a bit tighter to prevent the outer skin from bursting later.
- 15

You can roll it a little longer. After all three are done, cover with plastic wrap and let rest for 20 minutes.
- 16

After resting, brush a thin layer of vegetable oil on the surface. The finished product will be crispy and not too burnt, then put it in the oven.
- 17

Preheat the oven to 200℃ and bake for about 15 minutes. (Note: In the last 5 minutes, remember to check the surface. If it has already browned, cover it with a sheet of aluminum foil to prevent it from getting too burnt.)
- 18

Sam's beef wrap, done O(∩_∩)O
