A hearty pan-fried toast with a hollowed center holding an egg, sliced sausage and melting cheese, cooked in butter until crisp on both sides.

Instructions

Slice the sausage after it has thawed and set aside.

Choose a slightly thicker slice of toast and hollow out a square in the middle.

After heating the frying pan, add butter and let it melt.

Place the toast in and crack the egg into the hollow.

Place the sliced sausage and cheese, then cover it with the square piece removed from the toast.

Sprinkle with pepper and cook until both sides are done.
