Scallion Cheese Bread
Scallion Cheese Bread — all-purpose flour, milk and yeast powder, baked until golden and fragrant.
Instructions
- 1

Prepare the ingredients and tools.
- 2

Mix flour, white sugar, salt, yeast, and eggs, gradually add milk, and knead into a rough dough. Then add softened butter and knead into a smoother dough.
- 3

Wash the spring onions, remove the stems, and chop them finely. Mix them together with the eggs, salt, and melted butter.
- 4

Place the dough in a warm place to ferment. Winter has arrived in Nanjing, so I preheat the oven to around 35 degrees for about 30 minutes, then turn it off and put the mixing bowl inside.
- 5

It fermented for about two and a half hours, and the volume increased to about twice its original size.
- 6

Press the fermented dough to release the air, gently roll it out, make a few cuts, and sprinkle with shredded cheese and chopped green onions with sauce.
- 7

Preheat the oven to 180°C, pour 50 grams of water into the bottom tray (water bath method), and bake the tray for 25 minutes.
- 8

Take out the baked bread, let it cool a bit, and then you can eat it~
