Scallion Meat Floss Corn Cake
Easy and satisfying, Scallion Meat Floss Corn Cake uses self-raising flour, cornmeal and egg and is baked until light, fluffy and golden. Perfect with tea or as a snack.
Instructions
- 1
Prepare the ingredients (cornmeal, self-raising flour, sugar in a bowl).
- 2
ml of milk.
- 3
Put the eggs into the mixer.
- 4
Then add the milk and stir until smooth with no lumps.
- 5
Pour into molds or baking cups, filling them up to 80% full.
- 6
Sprinkle shredded meat, chopped green onions, and sesame seeds on top, and preheat the oven to 180 degrees for five minutes.
- 7
Place in the lower layer of the oven and bake at 160 degrees for 20 minutes (note that the meat floss can easily burn, so if your oven is temperamental, adjust the heat accordingly).
- 8
After a few minutes, adjust to 180 degrees, cover with baking paper, and continue baking for 10 minutes (covering with baking paper prevents the meat floss from burning).
- 9
The outer layer has a strong scallion aroma, the inside is golden and fluffy, delicious and easy to make 👍
