Seasonal Menu | Major Cold Homecoming Dumplings
Pumpkin-dough dumplings filled with golden-fried tofu and chopped fennel, rolled into thin wrappers for a seasonal winter bite with a sweet, earthy note.
Instructions
- 1

Peel the pumpkin, cut it into slices, and steam for 10 minutes. Mash it after removing it from the steamer, and let it cool for later use.
- 2

Take an appropriate amount of organic dumpling dough and pumpkin puree, knead them together into a moderately soft dough, and let it rest for later use.
- 3

Cut the tofu into cubes and stir-fry in the pan until golden brown.
- 4

Wash and chop the fennel, then add it in order to the tofu cubes, vegetable powder, and a little salt, and mix evenly.
- 5

Take out the well-risen pumpkin dough and knead it evenly, then roll it into dumpling wrappers about 7 centimeters in diameter and shape them into goldfish forms.
- 6

Add an appropriate amount of water to the pot and bring it to a boil over high heat. Put in the prepared goldfish dumplings and steam over medium heat for 10 minutes. They're ready when taken out.
- 7

Put two red beans into the fish's eyes (the shape of the fish is then complete).
