Shredded Radish Fish Soup
Tilapia chunks are marinated, pan-fried until golden, then simmered with shredded white radish in boiling water to build a milky, peppery fish soup brightened with cilantro.
Instructions
- 1

Clean and prepare a tilapia, then cut it into large pieces.
- 2

Put into a bowl, add cooking wine, pepper, and a little salt, and mix well to marinate for 15 minutes.
- 3

Cut half a white radish into thin strips.
- 4

Slice the ginger and cut the cilantro into sections for later use.
- 5

Place the fish pieces in the pot and fry until they are light yellow, then pour out the excess oil.
- 6

Add an appropriate amount of boiling water to the pot at once, and put in the ginger slices.
- 7

After boiling, cover it and cook on high heat for five minutes, then switch to low heat for ten minutes until the soup turns rich in color.
