Soft and chewy with a bouncy texture, juicy orange daifuku, no oven needed, zero difficulty!
Chewy no-bake orange daifuku with a soft glutinous wrapper and juicy fresh orange filling, a sweet-tart treat bursting with citrus flavor.
Instructions
- 1

Prepare the ingredients. Oranges are about to go off the market, and only these large oranges are left. Fortunately, they are sweet and sour, juicy, and also taste pretty good!
- 2

Peel the oranges, and use a blender to juice 1-2 of them.
- 3

Take 110 grams of orange juice, glutinous rice flour, cornstarch, and granulated sugar and put them into a bowl.
- 4

Beat until evenly mixed.
- 5

Sift into a bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and poke holes.
- 6

After the water boils, steam it in the pot until cooked, about 25 minutes. Once steamed, mix in the butter while hot.
- 7

The kneaded dough can be pulled apart without breaking immediately, divide it into 4 portions, and sprinkle with cooked glutinous rice flour to prevent sticking.
- 8

Roll it out or press it thin with your hands, and place a whole tangerine on it.
- 9

Fold the edge upwards, pinch it tight, dust with cooked flour to prevent sticking, place the leaf-shaped decoration with a handle on top, and you're done!
- 10

No need to refrigerate, you can eat it directly. The soft and glutinous rice skin wraps around juicy tangerines, sweet and sour, super soft and chewy. Have it with a chilled drink for afternoon tea, cool and refreshing, really delicious!
