Special Zongzi | Fruit Jelly Zongzi
A whimsical no-cook dessert zongzi: dragon-fruit-tinted jelly wrapped plastic-film style around watermelon flowers and halved green grapes, chilling into translucent, jewel-like, fruity dumpling shapes.
Instructions
- 1
First, get the above materials ready! Also, have some resealable bags prepared 👌🏻
- 2
After slicing the watermelon, use a tool to press out flower shapes, and wash the green grapes and cut them in half.
- 3
Take the skin of half a dragon fruit and put it into 600ml of purified water to cook until a light pink color appears.
- 4
I added a bit more dragon fruit flesh to cook (actually, such a deep pink isn't necessary, pink is enough).
- 5
Cook it like this, remove the peel and pulp, pour in 50 grams of white agar powder, then add 50 grams of zero-calorie sugar and stir evenly before turning off the heat.
- 6
Next, open the fresh-keeping bag, first pour in an equal amount of cold jelly water, then add a few spoonfuls of original flavor crystal jelly, a few pieces of green grapes, a few pieces of watermelon-patterned jelly, then tie it up and hang it to cool and set. After that, put it in the refrigerator to chill for two hours before eating for a better taste!

After making it, I immediately showed it off once it was refrigerated. The super delicious fruit jelly zongzi are really great! Chilled and full of fruity flavor, especially suitable for eating in summer~~~~
