#Spring Eats Wild Vegetables Aroma# Wild Onion Rice Cakes
Chewy glutinous rice cakes studded with fragrant wild onion segments, made by kneading sweetened rice flour with boiling water, then shaping and cooking until the outside is crisp and the inside stays soft.
Instructions
- 1

Wash the wild onions.
- 2

Cut into small pieces.
- 3

Mix two kinds of rice flour (I like to add some glutinous rice to sticky rice; if you don't have sticky rice, you can use only glutinous rice) and add salt and sugar.
- 4

Add boiling water and stir with chopsticks. (You can add a little boiling water first, and add more later as needed.)
- 5

Add the chopped wild onions.
- 6

Knead into a moderately soft and firm dough, and towards the end of kneading, you can add a little salad oil, which will make it less sticky and easier to handle.
- 7

Make them into individual cakes.
- 8

Put a small amount of oil in a non-stick pan, fry until both sides are slightly yellow and crispy, and eat while hot.
