Spring Roll Meal
Paper-thin wrappers made by rolling and steaming oiled dumpling skins, then filled with a savory stir-fry and rolled up, offering a tender, chewy, springy texture.
Instructions
- 1
Freshly pressed dumpling wrappers bought at the vegetable market, spread evenly with cooking oil on each one, ten stacked together make a dozen.
- 2
Roll it out with a rolling pin into a thin, large round pancake, much larger than the original dough.
- 3
Cover it to prevent the steam from dripping onto the crust, then put the pot lid on and steam over high heat for about fifteen minutes until the crust is cooked.
- 4
The steamed pastry is very thin, easy to separate, and has a bouncy texture.
- 5
Stir-fry the beef, vinegar-fried shredded potatoes, and char siu; cut the cucumber into strips, and wash the lettuce.
- 6
Brush a layer of sweet bean sauce on the surface of the pancake, then add your favorite ingredients, and then roll it up and it's ready to eat.
- 7
Extremely delicious, I couldn't help but eat too much again all of a sudden.
