Steamed Bun Exclusive
Fluffy steamed twisted rolls layered with a flour-and-oil paste, chopped scallions, and diced sausage, rolled and cut before steaming into soft, savory swirls.
Instructions
- 1

Weigh the white sugar and yeast.
- 2

Pour in warm water and stir until melted.
- 3

Pour into the flour.
- 4

Stir with chopsticks until it forms a flocculent texture.
- 5

Gently knead it into a ball with your hands.
- 6

Knead it into a smooth dough again.
- 7

Make an oil paste: three spoons of flour and one spoon of seasoning.
- 8

Add an appropriate amount of oil and mix until it has the consistency of yogurt.
- 9

Roll the dough into a rectangle, brush it with oil pastry, and sprinkle with chopped green onions and sausage pieces.
- 10

Roll it up, then cut it about two fingers wide, but do not cut all the way through.
- 11

Use chopsticks to press out patterns at an angle.
- 12

Coil it into a circle and place it in the steamer to ferment.
- 13

After fermentation is complete, turn on the heat. Once the water boils, start timing for ten minutes, then simmer for a few minutes before taking it out.
