Steamed mung bean soup
An inventive steamed dessert soup: mung beans, Job's tears, and glutinous rice are steamed until blooming, then chilled with mint-infused syrup and rock sugar.
Instructions
- 1
Soak the mung beans, coix seeds, and glutinous rice in clean water overnight. After soaking, drain the water and rinse them with clean water.
- 2
Add half a bowl of water to the mung beans, steam on the pot for 20 minutes, and steam until the mung beans bloom, and the coix seeds and glutinous rice are cooked.
- 3
After boiling milliliters of water, add 1/2 spoon of osmanthus sugar, 1.6 jin of rock sugar, then add 100 milliliters of juice brewed from mint. After cooking, let it cool naturally, and it becomes syrup!

Each time you eat, you just need to add into the bowl in order: a spoon of glutinous rice, a spoon of coix seeds, two spoons of mung beans, a spoon of syrup, and then soak it in ice water.
