Steamed Sweet Rice First Release
A steamed sweet sticky rice molded with cashews, peanuts, walnuts, dried dates, cranberries, and goji berries for a nutty, fruit-studded festive bowl.
Instructions
- 1

Prepare glutinous rice and soak raw cashews in clean water for an hour.
- 2

Prepare cranberries, goji berries, and small dates by removing the pits and cutting them into small pieces. Soak peanuts and walnut kernels in clean water for an hour.
- 3

Boil peanuts, cashews, and walnuts in boiling water for about 10 minutes each.
- 4

Brush the steaming bowl with a generous layer of oil, and arrange the dried fruits neatly into a shape.
- 5

Rinse the glutinous rice and put it into a pot of boiling water, simmer over low heat for 15 minutes, then pour in a bowl of cold water first (this way the glutinous rice grains will remain separate) before scooping out the glutinous rice.
- 6

Mix in sugar while it's hot.
- 7

Divide the glutinous rice into two steaming bowls.
- 8

Put it into boiling water and steam for half an hour.
- 9

Take the sweet rice out and invert it onto a plate. When eating, pour in honey or osmanthus sugar.
