Taro Paste Cake Roll
Taro Paste Cake Roll — taro, purple sweet potato and egg, baked until light, fluffy and golden. Great for beginners and experienced home cooks alike.
Instructions
- 1

Steam the taro and purple sweet potato, then add a little condensed milk and mash into a puree.
- 2

I like something with granules (for those who prefer a smooth texture, add some milk and blend it in a high-speed blender).
- 3

Mix the milk and oil together by stirring.
- 4

Emulsify as shown in the picture.
- 5

Fold in the cake flour, then add the egg yolks.
- 6

Stir and mix evenly (the batter is ready).
- 7

Add the egg whites to the sugar (adding the sugar in two parts) and beat until foamy.
- 8

Beaten egg whites.
- 9

Fold the beaten egg whites into the batter in two additions.
- 10

Pour the mixed batter into the baking pan (lined with paper) and spread it evenly.
- 11

Put it in the oven and bake at 150 degrees with top and bottom heat for 20 minutes, then take it out to cool.
- 12

Spread the taro paste filling on the cake.
- 13

Roll it up and put it in the refrigerator to chill for an hour.
- 14

It's so delicious.
