Three-Delicacies Steamed Dumplings

Three-Delicacies Steamed Dumplings

Delicate steamed dumplings filled with three treasures: sweet shrimp, fluffy scrambled egg, and salted zucchini squeezed dry, for a light, juicy, spring-like filling.

Instructions

  1. 1
    Step image

Shred the zucchini and green onion, add a spoonful of salt, and mix, set aside.

  2. 2

Fresh green shrimp can be steamed or boiled until cooked. You can also use shrimp meat or dried shrimp as substitutes.

  3. 3
    Step image

Peel the cooked shrimp and chop it, but not too finely. Eating it in chunks gives a better texture.

  4. 4
    Step image

    Beat three stupid eggs.

  5. 5
    Step image

Add more oil to the frying pan and stir-fry until the eggs are broken into small pieces.

  6. 6
    Step image

Squeeze the water out of the zucchini that has been marinated for half an hour.

  7. 7
    Step image

Add the squeezed dry shredded zucchini to the chopped shrimp, fry the rice and eggs, then add chopped green onions, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and Thirteen Spices. Finally, adjust the taste with a bit of salt.

  8. 8
    Step image

Mix into the filling, and you can taste to adjust the saltiness, since everything is already cooked.

  9. 9
    Step image

Shape them into dumplings, steam on a rack for fifteen minutes after the water boils, then let them sit for another two to three minutes after turning off the heat. I bought ready-made dumpling wrappers, but you can also make the dough yourself; this step is omitted because everyone already knows it.
