Tomato beef sauce
A hearty meat sauce where butter-sauteed onion and garlic welcome ground beef, celery, and tomatoes simmered into a robust partner for pasta or steamed rice.
Instructions
- 1

Prepare the ingredients, bring the minced meat to room temperature, dice the tomatoes and onions, and mince the garlic.
- 2

Place the pot on the stove, turn to medium-high heat, add butter when the pot is hot, and after it melts, add chopped onions and minced garlic, and sauté until fragrant;
- 3

Add the diced celery and stir-fry.
- 4

Pour in the minced beef and use a spatula to break it apart.
- 5

Pour in the diced tomatoes and stir-fry for a moment;
- 6

Pour in the canned tomatoes, tomato paste, and tomato sauce, stir gently to mix, then add oregano, basil, thyme, salt, sugar, and black pepper. If it feels too thick, you can add an appropriate amount of broth, mix well, and taste. Generally, when using a lot of tomato products, sugar should be added appropriately. So, the final step is to adjust the flavor so that the sweetness, saltiness, and acidity are balanced. After seasoning, it can be taken off the heat. If not used all at once, it can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about a week.
