Twister Potato Tower
Street-fair spiral-cut potatoes stretched into towering tornado shapes on skewers, deep-fried until shatteringly crisp while the seasoned ridges stay light and addictively crunchy.
Instructions
- 1

Peel the potatoes and wash them clean. Night market potato towers are all neatly squared, but I can't bear to waste the scraps, so I use the potatoes in their original shape.
- 2

Place a pair of chopsticks under the potato and cut the potato horizontally.
- 3

Turn it over and cut it diagonally.
- 4

Add a little salt to the water, put the cut potatoes into the water to remove the starch, then drain the soaked potatoes and skewer them with bamboo sticks.
- 5

Add oil to the pot and heat until it reaches 60% hot.
- 6

Put in the prepared potatoes.
- 7

Fry until golden and crispy, then remove and drain the oil.
- 8

Sprinkle on the barbecue seasoning, and it's unbelievably delicious!
- 9

Finally, a few more with barbecue sauce, really awesome!
