Umi Rice Exclusive
Traditional black rice made by steeping glutinous rice overnight in juice pressed from black rice leaves, then steamed until inky, glossy, and hauntingly fragrant.
Instructions
- 1

Wash the fresh and tender crowberry leaves clean.
- 2

Put it into the blender to make juice (a food processor works too).
- 3

Strain the juice.
- 4

After rinsing the glutinous rice and draining the water, soak it in black rice juice for a day and a night, and the glutinous rice has turned dark green.
- 5

Place it in a steamer lined with cloth, and steam it for about 30 minutes after the water boils and produces steam.
- 6

Opening the lid, it is the aroma wafting towards you and the glistening black glutinous rice!
- 7

Add some dried fruit, it looks even better under the sunshine.
