Wisteria Flower Steamed Rice Exclusive
Delicate spring specialty of fresh wisteria blossoms tossed in oil, salt, and flour, steamed until tender and served with a garlicky vinegar dip for a floral, velvety bite.
Instructions
- 1

Spring has arrived, and the wisteria is blooming freely.
- 2

Pick the fresh wisteria flowers.
- 3

Remove the flower stems.
- 4

Wash the wisteria with water until clean.
- 5

Drain the water.
- 6

Take an appropriate amount of wisteria flowers and put them in a bowl, then add oil, salt, and flour.
- 7

Mix well, so that each flower is coated with flour.
- 8

Spread it in the steamer basket, steam it in the pot, and after the water boils and produces steam, steam for about 7 minutes (the exact time depends on the amount of wisteria flowers).
- 9

Mix minced garlic, aged vinegar, and light soy sauce to make a garlic sauce.
- 10

Place the steamed wisteria rice in a bowl, and mix it with garlic sauce when eating.
